In an interview that was granted to Moesha by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, she made some disgraceful comments on Ghanaian economy and women in Ghana. This comment did not go down likely with a lot of the public as they were of the view that Moesha was very ignorant about the subject of the day.

There are a lot of women in Ghana who have excelled in their field of career and business and are worthy to be celebrated. However, for a fellow Ghanaian woman, to think women have to give themselves to men in order to survive in Ghana is very senseless.

You cannot make enough money in Ghana as a woman to take care of yourself, actress Moesha Boduong.
Speaking to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Ms. Boduong argued that Ghana’s economy is such that as a woman, “…you need someone to take care of you; you can’t make enough money as a woman here”

In return, she said: “He expects me to be loyal and just to date him only and give him sex when he wants it”.
Christiane Amanpour: And what if you say no one day, he turns up at your house and you got a headache?
Moesha Boduong: You can’t say no, you have to give him what he wants.
Christiane Amanpour: And what if you don’t want it [sex] that day?
Moesha Boduong: He’s going to think you’re cheating on him.
Christiane Amanpour: And does your man have more mistresses?
Moesha Boduong: Yes
